About Me.
Hey there! I'm Jimmy, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a knack for connecting with teens and young adults. Whether you're grappling with school stress, depression, anxiety, big changes, or bending the rules, I'm here to help. I have a special place in my heart for neurodivergent kids and those with developmental disorders, as well as their families, offering support and guidance tailored to their unique needs. I also proudly work with trans clients, providing a safe and affirming space to navigate their journey.
And my expertise doesn't stop there—I work with adults of all ages, tackling everything from addiction and major life transitions to family and relationship conflicts.
Through individual, couple, or family sessions, we'll dive deep into what truly matters to you and set achievable goals to get you there. Let's make this journey together fun and meaningful!
Want to know even more?
I graduated from Adams State University in 2016 and became a licensed professional counselor in Virginia in 2020. I have worked in outpatient clinics and residential facilities, including community mental health settings and a therapeutic day school. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have struggled with addiction, both as a group therapist and working with individuals.
I worked in a group practice for the last few years, and am excited to start the journey of private practice with my wife.
Aside from all of this, you’ll usually find me at a local rock show or playing with my metal band. I’m a drummer who also picked up guitar during the pandemic.
